The Vanguard is a locally owned bar and restaurant located in the heart of Downtown Bayview in Milwaukee, WI. Taking over the space in October of 2014, we set out to make a truly unique Milwaukee experience. Offering an elevated approach to Milwaukee's Beer and Brat tradition, we specialize in House-made sausages, while the casual, pretension-free environment pays homage to Milwaukee's classic corner bar atmosphere. Our Chef-created menu focuses on innovative sausages ranging from familiar favorites to the adventurous, and even vegetarian options.
